#14 BSU beat #16 Oregon@ Bronco Stadium

I know some of you in the family aren't going to be happy with this blog but oh well.I have to post a blog that shares my enthusiasm for my Alum Mater Boise State University and it is after all the beginning of College Football one of my favorite times of the year.

I did not stay up for the game but I read and watched all the analysis, highlights and the ruckus afterward.

This game was sweeter then last years win against Oregon because the Broncos beat Oregon at home. The Broncos are 65-2 at home since 1996. Beware of playing in Bronco stadium it can be hazardous to your win-lose record.

When everybody says this was the biggest game in BSU history, believe it. Boise is a great town that has always supported their local college and this game and the win last night are huge for a city that takes pride in its pioneer roots and pleasure in its winning sport teams.

Much of the state was rooting for BSU and the bragging rights that come with beating what many pundits say will be the team to finish 2nd in the PAC-10.

I have family that cheers for Oregon State and I think some that even cheer for Oregon.

My teams are BSU and BYU and anyone playing Oregon, Oregon State, and Georgia.

I remember the Bronco's win in 1980 National Championship against Eastern Kentucky and the buzz and excitement that happened in Boise that year. Take that excitement level times 100 and you will begin to have an idea of what BSU Football means to Boise, the Treasure Valley, the state and all those who claim BSU as Alumni it's huge to all of us who at some point in our lives were part of Big Blue.

I just want to say GO BIG BLUE, GO BLUE THUNDER, GO BRONCOS!!!!

I love the smurf turf!
